It displays the outdoor temperature trend. It is also a relative measuring device.
The process analyzes the outdoor temperature over several days and calculates a trend value, which is then interpreted as a colorful light display.
The pattern and colors constantly adapt to the evolving trend, one spot at a time, illustrating the intensity and duration of the current outdoor temperature fluctuations.
When the multi-day trend value begins to rise, the light display shifts from light yellow hues to oranges or reds.
Dropping temperatures are displayed in green and blue hues.
The trend does not offer a prediction. Instead, it shows the degree to which the current temperatures have changed in terms of high enthalpy.
Light blue or red hues indicate sharp changes.
The influence of the outdoor temperature on an interior space is subject to a significant delay.
The INDICATOR measures how greatly the interior is expected to respond to the change.
An alternative mode can be set to display the shifts in temperature within a single day. This will make the color tone change much faster, though these daily color gradients tend to repeat from one day to the next.
The measuring device will function in cold polar regions as well as in deserts.
